The Contingency Coverage Model
Never worry about an empty shift; we have it covered.
To ensure Service Continuity, ID employs a backup system. If an individual is absent, an alternative candidate or an ID Support Staff member immediately assumes responsibility for the essential duties.
Integrated Disability Management (IDM)
We use a high-level accommodation framework to:
-
Reduce the impact of illness, injury, or tardiness on productivity.

Keep the individual attached to the workforce.

FAQ
-
What happens if an ID employee is unable to make it to their shift?
We operate under a Contingency Coverage Model. If an individual is absent, ID’s backup system is triggered. Either a designated alternative candidate or a member of the ID Support Staff will fulfill the duties of the role. Your operations continue without disruption, and your productivity remains a priority.
-
Will I need to provide extra training or supervision?
ID provides ongoing coaching and on-site staffing support. We take the lead in breaking down tasks into manageable steps for the individual. Think of us as your “inclusion partners” — we are there to ensure daily goals are met and the individual is properly integrated into your workflow.
-
How do you handle workplace accommodations?
We view our model as a high-level accommodation itself. Through Integrated Disability Management (IDM), we coordinate efforts to reduce the effects of tardiness or illness. We manage the “safety-net” aspects of their employment so you can focus on your business.
-
Is there a risk of high turnover?
Actually, our goal is the opposite. Our policy is designed to eliminate the risk of job loss. By providing EAP (Employee Assistance Programs) and medication management support for lifestyle routines, we help individuals remain stable, productive, and attached to the workforce long-term.
-
Who exactly are the candidates ID works with?
We find job placement for individuals with developmental disabilities who have been vetted for functional capacity. This includes work-ready high school graduates, stabilized group home residents, and adaptive candidates who have the stamina for a consistent work schedule.
-
How does ID ensure the quality of work?
Our Service Continuity policy is proactive. Because we provide a backup system (an Individual or ID Staff), the essential functions of the job are guaranteed to be completed regardless of the individual’s personal attendance or episodic periods of illness.
-
How does ID solve employee lateness?
To ensure punctuality, staff transport individuals to arrive early at their worksites. By controlling the commute, we reduce the variance that causes no-shows and late arrivals, allowing your business to maintain smooth operations and meet deadlines.
